January 1st
Today, as hoped, I did all three: walked, wrote and wore less black.
This morning I went on the treadmill and walked two lots of 1k, then we went for a decent ramble around the local reservoir, which probably brought the total distance travelled to about 5k. It's when I walk a similar number of steps that I'm reminded of the problematic fact that I'm really supposed to be doing so every day (hence, of course, this blog).
Secondly, I not only wore a delightful teal bobble hat and gloves for the reservoir excursion, but also purchased a sunshiny yellow one - the very antithesis of black - from Mountain Warehouse.
And I wrote a poem for my writing lesson homework. It's nameless as yet, and on the sad side.
How was your day?
